Our Community Planning Service is staffed by professionally qualified planners and provides:

• information and training for community groups on planning processes and procedures;
  
  
• assistance for groups in preparing community plans and strategies for neighbourhood regeneration;
  
  
• advice and support for groups in responding to government plans or developers' proposals affecting their areas.
  

With CTA's support, groups can not only respond to or challenge government plans but also produce their own. Using methods developed and refined by us, including mapping exercises and visioning workshops groups can produce community plans and involve the whole community in doing so.
