We promote community involvement through:

• facilitating conferences, seminars and workshops;
  
  
• community surveys;
  
  
• analysis of social and economic statistics for local areas;
  
  
• mapping exercises which focus a community's ideas and views on preparing a plan for the future; and 
  
  
• public meetings, focus groups and outreach.

Our approaches and techniques have been tried and tested in a range of different projects and settings. In many cases we have used them to devise community plans, regeneration strategies and development plans and establish new initiatives and structures. We have also facilitated and reported on public and community consultation in major planning and transportation issues.
